Andersen Geneve
Orbita Lunae
"Blue Gold" Wandering Moon
Built by none other than the redoubtable Mr Svend Andersen, co-founder of the AHCI, this Orbita Lunae was produced in 2005, and comes with its original certificate. One of Andersen's trademarks is his exquisite solid-gold blue oxide dials. This is a combination of a careful custom alloying and very slow, controlled heat-treatment. With every passing day, the blue engine-turned dial with its aperture clicks round anti-clockwise. Meanwhile, the man-in-the-moon follows round at a slightly different speed, thereby displaying the full sequence of moon phases over the course of the lunar month. Limited to only 31 pieces, this watch comes with its original blue Andersen alligator strap with rose gold "Hagmann" folding clasp. A rare opportunity to own a piece by one of the world's last independent, creative watchmakers.
