Powered by Seiko's innovative Spring Drive movement; an advanced mechanical movement that negates the need for a conventional balance & hairspring; utilising a magnetic regulator instead, to control the release of power from the mainspring, achieving a superlative accuracy of ±1 second a day. An pioneering movement created & developed by Yoshikazu Akahane over 28 years and 100s of prototypes. Waterproof to 200m.
