When IWC introduced the original "Big Pilot's Watch" in 2002, they weren't kidding! That model was over 46mm and with a massive winding crown; unless you have a statuesque wrist, you need some serious chutzpah to wear it. This 43mm revision faithfully preserves all that's great about the original whilst being decidedly sleeker and more wearable. 

Introduced this year at 'Watches and Wonders', this Big Pilot 43 has a highly legible and extremely appealing metallic dark blue dial with centre seconds and Luminova finish throughout. The in-house self-winding calibre beats at 28,800 vph, with 60 hour power-reserve. The exquisitely simple and reliable Pellaton winding system is beautifully displayed through the sapphire glass back.

The new and brilliantly simple EasX-CHANGE system allows effortless strap and buckle replacements. Fitted to a dark calfskin strap with white stitching. Complete, with its IWC box, certificate, and booklets.
