About this watch
Originally released in 2005 to celebrate the long standing relationship between IWC and Mercedes AMG (now AMG F1 division), IWC released this 42mm Ingenieur 'CLS 55 AMG'. Much like the original 1955 example, it was an extremely limited production, in fact, just 55 pieces were produced in high-grade titanium and were only available to clients who were lucky enough to secure a CLS 55 AMG.
It features a silver 'stepped' dial, with luminous filled arabic hour markers, thick hands and a brushed titanium 'porthole' bezel. Fitted to a soft black calf leather strap, with 'nappa' stitching texture, powered by IWC's self-winding calibre 80110, and waterproof to 120m.
