Jaeger-leCoultre
Geophysic True Second
"Jumping Dead-Seconds"
Under JLC internantional warranty, UK RRP is £8,150. With its clean lines, and frosted silver dial, this 39.6mm self-winding Geophysic is a true 1950s-styled classic. The original was made upon that cresting wave of scientific research, the International Geophysical Year. This hommage adds the distinctive feature of jumping dead-seconds, which lends the watch a studious air. Another feature is quick-set hours for easy adjustment of time zones when travelling. Just like its predecessor in 1958, this model also features special placement of the luminous hour marks, seen here as neat beads on the rehaut under the glass. Completely free of any sign of use, including the black alligator strap on deployant clasp. Comes with its original Jaeger LeCoultre box, booklet and certificate (origin Paris).
