Laurent Ferrier
Galet Classic Tourbillon
Enamel Dial "Double Spiral"
Extremely rare, entirely hand-made watches have become astonishingly valuble. An early F. P. Journe tourbillon recently sold for £1.2 million in June 2020. When Laurent Ferrier, now in his 70s, finally stops work, watches like this magnificent enamel-dial tourbillon are going to be impossible to buy.
Still under manufacturer's warranty until Novemeber 2021. Mr Laurent Ferrier only produces around 150 watches total, per year. He was was previously senior at Patek Philippe's complications department and was one of the co-creators of the original Patek Nautilus. What provenance! The beautifully textured 'grand feu' enamel dial reveals subtle silver wording: "Tourbillon Double Spiral". Manual-wind calibre LF916.01 tourbillon. Large 40.5mm rose-gold case, original alligator strap and L-F folding clasp. Complete with its original Laurent Ferrier wooden box, manufacturer's warranty document, and chronometer certificate from Besançon observatory.
