About this watch
A good honest vintage Speedy from 1971.
In superb unpolished condition, this rare 145.022 was the first Speedmaster to sport the famous Medallion engraving on the caseback.
It features an unrestored 'stepped' dial with even patina across the tritium hands & hour markers, the correct (lightly-faded) 'DN90' aluminium bezel and a Hesalite crystal, with Omega's famous 'Ω' logo etched in the middle. The asymmetric case is still nice and fat, and is fitted to the original '1175' Speedmaster bracelet stamped 2-71. Powered by Omega's iconic hand-wound calibre 861, and presented with its cool vintage red Omega box.
