Speedmaster 'Ed White'
Omega Extract from Archive
With such strong demand for the latest 'Moonwatch' tribute, there is nothing quite like having the original Speedmaster...
An 'Ed White' Speedy with an abundance of character is a rare occurrence nowadays, as perfect examples are quickly tucked away by collectors. UK retailed in January 1968, this rare Speedmaster ref. 105.003-65 was the very last reference to feature straight lugs. The beautifully preserved black 'stepped' dial (with applied 'Ω' logo), appears tropical under certain light, 'long' tritium hour markers, and the 'ghosted' 'dot over 90' bezel with accented 'É'. Fitted to its rare steel '1035' folded link bracelet marked '1/68', waterproof to 60m & powered by Omega's coveted hand-wound calibre 321 movement.
Presented with its Omega Extract from the Archives, confirming its delivery to the UK, and date of production as January 1968.
