The 5270 will always be considered a groundbreaking reference for Patek Philippe. Released in 2011, it was the first chronograph movement with a perpetual calendar that was entirely crafted in-house.
Patek developed the caliber CH 29-535 PS Q, with a traditional manually-wound layout with six patented innovations, and is admired for its extremely thin (1.65mm) calendar mechanism.
