There is presently only one other Day-Date 36 with meteorite dial for sale in Europe.

This exceptional Day-Date comes factory-fitted with the ultra-rare Meteorite dial, an option no longer offered by Rolex for the 36mm Everose model. Each dial is unique. Its distinctive crystalline Thomson-Widmanstätten patterns are a result of the iron-nickel alloy cooling slowly over millions of years as it travelled through space. Rolex meteorite dials are now even rarer than ever; they are prepared from early specimens from the Gibeon meteor field, before the government of Namibia declared all the remaining meteorite material off-limits as a national monument.

The premier Rolex model – the Day-Date with fluted bezel and President bracelet has been made since 1956, and only ever in precious metal. This ref. 118235 is of Everose Gold, a Rolex trade secret alloy whose unique rose tint is guaranteed never to fade or oxidise. The dial also has Rolex's trademark 2 baguette and 8 brilliant-cut diamonds at the hour markers.  

In exceptional crisp and fresh condition, this Day-Date is complete with its Rolex box and certificate (origin Singapore); we do not expect to source another any time soon.
