A rare and special find, how beautiful is this Explorer II ?

Retailed in Rolex Paris in May 1998, this sapphire glass ref. 16570 is one of only a handful examples for sale in the world with the 'Panna' dial. 

Very few examples are in existence where the original 'T<25' white dial, turns a rich creamy colour, and the tritium hands & matching hour markers patina to a deep yellow honey-tone, affectionately referred to as 'chicchi di mais'. Exceptionally sharp, unrestored condition, presented with everything from new, and under Rolex international warranty from a Rolex London service in Aug 2022.

Rolex self-winding dual-time calibre 3185, waterproof to 100m and fitted to correct year stamped '78790' Oyster fliplock bracelet. Rolex box, booklets, Explorer instructions, both swing tags, calendar card, perforated Rolex warranty papers dated May 1998 and Rolex UK service history dated Aug 2022.
