This 'G' serial Rolex Explorer II ref. 16570 from Sept. 2011 was one of the very last to leave Rolex before being discontinued later that year. These outgoing 16570's we're fitted with the updated 3186 calibre no doubt being road tested by Rolex, in anticipation of the switch to the new gen models. To check your Explorer II or late GMT II calibre, advance the hour hand separately, if the 24hr hand doesn't wobble, congrats you have yourself a rare 3186!

Sporting a 40mm steel case (the 216570 is now 42mm), with an all white "Polar" dial with green glowing Superluminova hands & markers, and equipped with a 24-hour fixed bezel. Originally retailed in the UK from Harrods no less, and offered complete with its Rolex box, booklet, instruction manual, service booklet, Chronometer tag, bezel protector, UK stamped Rolex warranty card dated September 2011 & Rolex service warranty card dated May 2019 (under official Rolex warranty to May 2021).
