The Explorer 1016 is one of Rolex's most coveted references.
This early 1973 example features the MK I dial, with distinctive "frog foot" Rolex coronet at 12, matte dial with creamy tritium hands & 3,6,9 hour markers.
The multiple 'Lon' (London) engravings on the inner case back, attest to the comprehensive Rolex service history and excellent care this vintage Explorer has received over the past 50 years.
Powered by Rolex's self-winding calibre 1570 movement, one of the first to feature 'hacking' seconds for high precision setting. Fitted to its period-correct '78360' Oyster bracelet. Under our two-year comprehensive Watch Club warranty.
