In the final years of production, Rolex experimented with a few dial variations of the legendary 16710 GMT-Master II, and we saw the appearance of the "rectangular" and "stick" II's.

This Z serial example (manufactured just before the ref. 16710 was discontinued), sports the 'rectangular II', where the outside serifs of the II have been reduced, forming a little rectangular box.
