GMT-Master "Pepsi" MK V
Tritium Dial - Box & Certificate
The ultimate reason we see the value in watch collecting increase so steadily, is largely down to these market defining models being so sought-after. The latest Cerachrom bezel "Pepsi" 126710BLRO is an exceptional tribute to the 1675 Pepsi, but when it comes down to it, the purest collectors (us included) will always lust after the 'originals'.
Remarkably, this rare 5.5m serial GMT-Master ref. 1675 "Pepsi" still retains its original hand written receipt & punched Rolex certificate, both stamped at Geneve airport in Dec. 1979 (when it was sold for £346). The uniquely faded sky-blue & vibrant red tone this serifed 24-hour bezel insert has developed over the last 50 years, the super creamy tritium lume plots (and matching hands) on this mark V dial, and even the '62510H' D stamped jubilee bracelet, all affirm the credentials of this vintage GMT. Presented with its vintage green Rolex box, translation booklet, hand written bill of sale, punched Rolex certificate dated Dec. 1979 & Rolex service papers dated October 1989.
