With prices on vintage Daytonas going through the roof, many collectors have begun to turn their attention to the traditionally underappreciated "Pre-Daytona". As such, not only are prices increasing on these sleeker-than-a-Cosmo chronographs but as Daytonas continue to race away, the 6238s are being given more and more room to grow. This early 866k example with transitional blue telemetre dial (a design taken from the 6234 that preceeded it) is in superb condition and is powered by the Rolex manual wind 72B chronograph movement.
