One of the most collectable and famous Rolex sports models of all time, the 1680 "Red Writing" Submariner. These early versions of Rolex's 'new' Sub Date featured the signature in a bold ruby red, and this example with 3.7million serial and MK VI dial would have been amongst the very last before the design changed to the monochrome style we see today... The years have been extremely kind to this watch, the dial is in perfect condition, with the lume turning a beautiful yolk coloured yellow and a pristine matte charcoal dial.
