Finding such beautiful examples of vintage Submariner Dates is becoming increasingly hard to do. The perfectly aged Mk II dial has a gorgeous rich yellow lume (matched on all three hands and the bezel pearl) even the matte charcoal grey dial appears to have taken on a slight tropical hue in some lights. The solid stainless steel case and 1978 bracelet are both in equally fine condition, with some nice chamfers on the lugs. All these little details add up to a gorgeous Sub that absolutely sings to us...
