Breitling
Navitimer 806
Unpolished, Box & Certificate
Manufactured in 1966 and sold in Denmark in February 1968, this classic Navitimer 806 is about as good as they get! Still with the original factory finish to the stainless steel case, the rose-gold plated movement is fresh and vibrant as is the gloss lacquered black dial. Correctly-matching tritium hour markers and hands (including the uncommon luminous-tipped central chronograph "runner").
We bought this from the family of the first owner, a Danish collector; the watch is in unbelievably good condition. The gem-like facets on the case show just how well designed the Navitimer is, with contrasting glints of geometrically-pure mirror finishing and long, even graining.
We've been lucky to be offered some of the best Navitimers in the world over the past 10 years, and when they're gone, they're gone. With Breitling now looking closer at their heritage, and with word of a proper museum, watches like this from the first owners at sensible prices will not keep appearing in the market. Includes the original box, booklets and correctly dated certificate. Two-year warranty from Watch Club.
