Made especially for the American market (RRP was $137 dollars in 1963), this beautiful vintage LeCoultre chronograph houses one of the most respected chronograph movements of the era, the trusty Valjoux 72, famous for powering the Paul Newman Daytonas. Sporting a beautiful silver dial with just the right amount of gold toned patina, original Radium luminous markers and broad, perfectly aged hands. The 35mm solid steel case is in superb condition, with sharp, robust lugs, chunky screw back and internal dust cover. Fitted to a super supple and comfy Jean Paul Menicucci calfskin strap.
