If ever a watch possessed all the qualities to be a massive world hit, then this white gold "Jumbo" Aquanaut ref. 5168 must surely be it. Specially created in 2017 to mark the 20th anniversary of the sporty Aquanaut, it features a larger 42.2mm case (water resistant to 120m) and gorgeous night blue embossed dial. Originally only produced in this dial colour, (the Khaki green variant was introduced two years later) it seems the blue (like other rare blue dials from AP, Rolex & Patek) has a broader and potentially longer term appeal with collectors. Our present watch was purchased in the UK in 2019, is in like new condition, with brand new uncut midnight blue tropical composite strap, and is still under official Patek Philippe warranty. Naturally for such an important piece, it is offered complete with its Patek box, Aquanaut manual, booklets and UK stamped certificate.
