I was very tempted to keep this Patek for our private collection... Like previous precious metal Patek Chronographs, history predicts great things for this platinum 5170. However, this isn't the only reason for my temptation to keep it, that stems from the near perfect proportions of its 39.4mm platinum case and the exquisite blue degrade dial with 9 baguette diamonds that engage the senses. I adore the subtle baguette diamond batons on the 40th anniverary Nautilus 5711P and I love them here!

Post Lemania, and 5 years in the making (the result an architectual marvel), the hand-wound mechanical Patek calibre CH 29-535 PS features a horizontal 'S' shaped clutch & coloumn wheel (tidied away beneath the polished cap), power-reserve is a generous 65-hours. Fitted to a midnight blue alligator strap with platinum folding clasp & waterproof to 30m. A perfect 'complete set' with its Patek Philippe piano wood box, instruction booklets, literature, swing tags & Patek Philippe warranty dated December 2017.
