Patek Philippe
Nautilus 'Self-Winding' 37.5mm
Box & Certificate "Sigma Dial"
In 1981 Patek Philippe introduced the self-winding Nautilus ref. 3800/001 in a discreet 37.5mm case. Smaller than the "Jumbo 3700" but ironically with a higher RRP, partly due to the addition of a sweeping seconds hand. Today the steel 42mm Jumbo's from the late 70's have surpassed £100k, and it appears the recently discontinued 5711/1A's are heading in the same direction; we believe the time is right for this extremely versatile Nautilus to show its true potential.
A truly outstanding example in rare 'unpolished' condition, this slim medium size Nautilus 3800 features a blue graduated "Sigma" dial with perfectly patinated 'light caramel' tritium hands and applied hour markers. The bezel, case and bracelet all retain beautifully sharp factory finish & bevelled edges, clear evidence this Nautilus has been very well cared for over the past 3 decades. Powered by the ultra-thin self-winding calibre 330 SC movement & waterproof to 120m. Fortunately, this extremely desirable watch is accompanied by its red Patek Philippe box, leather literature wallet & its Patek Philippe certificate d'origine from 1993.
