Patek Philippe
Nautilus "Early Medium Model"
Patek Service History
As fresh as when it was produced a quarter-century ago, this rare medium-size Nautilus, reference 3900 in stainless steel was produced in small numbers from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. Exceptionally, the watch has a Sigma dial – notice the tiny Greek letters printed at the dial's lower edge. This signifier of high-quality white gold markers is normally only found on 1970s watches, but infrequently some late-model Pateks have Sigma dials, the present one being such an example.
The alluring smoky blue-grey dial (named on the Archive Extract as 'black matte ribbed') compliments the brushed and polished steel of the classic Gerald Genta-designed 'sports' case. Inside is the venerable E23SC movement, a slim 2.5mm calibre still used in the Nautilus 7010 to this day. The watch has Patek Philippe service history, and is simply irreplaceable in this absolutely exceptional condition.
