The bold faceted tapering batons on this 1968 yellow gold Day-Date earned it the nickname 'Doorstop', and mark this particular Champagne dial ref. 1803 as that little bit more special.

Over the decades the Day-Date dial lost a little of that 60's flair, batons settled to a more conservative style, similar to what we see in the modern examples. Our 36mm Day-Date is in beautiful original condition with all intact caramel tritium lume plots which perfectly match the luminous of the correct hands on the flawless stepped dial.

The automatic Day & Date calibre 1570 movement is clean as a whistle, has been serviced and pressure tested to 60m, and is guaranteed for two years.
