This vintage 18ct yellow gold Day-Date has just been to Rolex for a full service, and is under their warranty for 2 years.
Manufactured in 1979, this classic 36mm ref. 18038 with Champagne baton dial, was the very first Day-Date model to feature a 'quick date' change and sapphire crystal glass (an important upgrade from the previous generation of Plexiglas). Powered by the automatic calibre '3055' movement, waterproof to 100m. Accompanied by its beautiful brown leather "buckle box", Day-Date booklet, service paperwork & guarantee from Rolex, plus a handy Rolex travel pouch. Fitted to a brand new brown alligator strap (provided by Rolex) and secured with the 'Plaque' Rolex pin buckle.
