This early Rolex Chronograph is the famous 6238 "Pre-Daytona" that set the template for the iconic Cosmograph. In superb original condition and manufactured in 1964 this example would have crossed over with the 6239 that followed it. The clean silver dial with the tachymetre printed directly onto the dial has beautifully aged Tritium lume that is matched on the hands. The water-proof Oyster case houses the manually wound Valjoux 72-B chronograph calibre and looks superb on hand stitched calf strap.
