Sea-Dweller "Double Red"
"Mark IV Dial"
About this watch
One of the most famous and important collectable watches in the history of horology, the Double Red Sea-Dweller is one of those few genuine legends. Developed with Comex as an industrial version of the Submariner, the 1665 was fitted a special Helium escape valve and for a few short years sported two lines of bold, brick red text on the dial. Characterised by distinctively grained printing, this mark IV example was one of the final models to be graced with the valuable "DRSD" printing and has come to us in beautiful condition, with a lovely fat case, creamy Tritium lume, nicely aged (and heavily serifed) bezel and original sturdy Oyster 93150 bracelet.
