Sea-Dweller "Rail Dial"
Rare Mk II "Great White"
The warm ivory patina on this vintage Sea-Dweller is one of the best we've ever seen! The rarest variation of Rolex's 'Great White' 1665 Sea-Dweller, the Mark II 'Rail Dial' made by the Stern company, suppliers of the famous Comex dials... Only produced for around 2 years with this distinctive text layout, the 1665 model Sea-Dweller proudly sports the small Helium escape valve on the side of the case that was developed in conjunction with Comex. The 40mm case was certified waterproof to 2000ft, an incredible feat for its day and houses the automatic Rolex cal.1575 movement. Fitted to its original heavy link '93150' Oyster Fliplock bracelet, and presented with its original Rolex box, anchor and rare 1970's "wave" Sub booklet (which are collectors items of their own). Covered by our 2 year warranty.
