The fact that the dial of this outstanding manually-wound 806 Navitimer is stamped by the French watchmaker 'Lip' tells us that this was one of the very few examples retailed in France during the late 60's. The Lip distribution deal was struck at a time when Breitlng sales were struggling in France and as a result very few are seen with this extra signature, even fewer are seen in such beautiful original condition. The crisp chamfered lugs, rich glossy gilt dial and creamy Tritium luminous hour markers are just bursting with joie de vivre!
