A very sharp and clean example of the beloved Breitling Navitimer model 806. Made in 1966, sold in 1968; collectors love details like the deep black gloss lacquered dial (in excellent condition without any signs of crackling or moisture damage), the original steel black oxide sub-dial hands (of different weights, fat for the hours, skinny for the others), tritium-filled hands and hour markers, and correct 'monochrome' slide-rule bezel (later replacements often have mis-matching red details). Of course, all these things are sure to excite anyone who loves old watches in great condition, but add the original certificate, stamped and dated by a British jeweller in 1968, and you have a truly important addition to any Navitimer collection.
