2211 - Tri-Colour Dial
As the 1960's Breitling advert boldly stated; "The Chronograph is no longer a specialist’s timepiece. It has become the watch for younger people".
Introduced in 1964, the Breitling Top Time ref. 2211 specifically targeted the younger generation. A sporty competition watch that combined 60's edgy design with impressive technical ability. Our vintage example from 1971 is in outstanding condition; the stainless steel 38mm square case has sharp defined lines, and importantly, the tri-colour dial shows no signs of restoration or alteration; only punctuated by its original fluorescent orange glowing chronograph hands & accents. Interestingly, the left & right sub-registers are separated by a grid like pattern; reminiscent of a 1970's retro racing car. Powered by the hand-wound Valjoux calibre 7730. Anti-magnetic, shock-resistant, water-resistant. Fitted to its vintage '100% stainless steel' stamped bracelet.
A cool and unique opportunity to own a vintage Breitling that you don't see everyday, and it's under our two-year warranty.
